Mazda B Series trucks  87/88

Mazda used the Mitsubishi G54B in carbureted form for their new 4wd model "B series" truck in 1987 and named it B2600, sticking with their naming scheme of model=engine size. They also use a standard bolt pattern in most of their transmission gearboxes from mid 80's-late 90's. Swaps are being done using a few different Mitsubishi engines 4g63/4g64/4g54 mated to a few different Mazda trannys using the bellhousing from this short 2 year production in 1987/88. Mazda changed the bellhousing again in 89 when they used their 100% totally new version of a 2.6 named "G6" but it has some similarities to the old g54b they borrowed from Mitsubishi for those first 2 years.

1982 Starion 1/28th scale metal promotional model car

"My father was the Quality Manager for Mitsubishi's plant in Adelaide (Australia) and he bought the Starion home from work for me one day when I was a kid. It was always on display and I was never allowed to play with it, so it's in the same condition as it was when I was given it."

Corey Hoskin, Australia

Notice the same Shusei name on the box along with the Colt logo as seen in the TV commercial.
